This session is designed to help teachers confidently implement the New Grade 6 Social Studies curriculum this September. Participants will work through the Learn It, Explore It, Use It structure, experiencing how knowledge, understanding, skills, and procedures (KUSPs) come together through active, inquiry-based learning. Teachers will learn the architecture of their grade-level curriculum and how the year unfolds, explore the ready-to-use lesson progressions, student materials, slide decks, and Edwin resources, and use the supports through hands-on experiences that model what students will do in the classroom. By the end of the session, teachers will leave with a clear understanding of the curriculum design and practical experience using the full year of 100% ready-to-go resources.
