This session supports Grade 4–6 teachers in strengthening nonfiction reading within the new Social Studies curriculum. Participants will explore how Edwin’s informational texts combined with non fiction reading skills can deepen inquiry, build content knowledge, and develop students’ skills with text features, vocabulary, and multiple‑source comprehension. The session highlights practical strategies for integrating more nonfiction into daily instruction and inquiry tasks, helping students become confident, critical readers of real‑world information.
